Today Mema came to visit and you just snoozed away. We went out to eat—you had never been to a restaurant before and you nearly slept right through it! You finally woke up for the last ten minutes or so. Mema and I got dessert and I put some whipped cream on my finger and put it in your mouth. You must have gotten your sweet tooth from Mama because you were willing to work for that! I need to become more diligent about working with you on your oral aversion. I think I have just accepted the G Tube as the answer and have slacked off on trying to overcome the eating issues. Most SLO kids have their feeding tubes for years, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it will be that way for you.

1)"Fingerprints" by Steven Curtis Chapman--I have always loved this one and it is my favorite song for you. It makes me cry.
2) "Be Still" by Storyside:B--This song came out around the time you were born. I had many of those "face down upon the floor" moments in those days.
3) "Letting Go" by Francesca Battistelli--Obviously, this is not what we planned for ourselves. But we have learned to let go of our own dreams and find joy in what God is doing in your life.
4) "Miracle of the Moment" also by Steven Curtis Chapman -- When I found out I was pregnant with you, I cried. Daddy and I had only been married 6 weeks and I wanted to wait awhile longer. As I was sobbing that day, I heard this song for the first time and did as it said. I took a big breath, calmed myself down and realized you were a miracle--and those moments weren't to be missed. When you were born, this song spoke to me on a whole new level. I tear up listening to it now.
